HVRSD Schools are Closed on Monday, October 9, 2023, for Indigenous Peoples' Day and for Staff Development
Dear HVRSD Community,
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in coordination with the Federal Communications Commission, is planning to conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System and Wireless Emergency Alerts tomorrow, Wednesday, October 4 at 2:20 p.m. Since the alerts will be sent to all consumer cell phones, we are anticipating a disturbance to instruction during that time. We are making our students and staff aware of this testing event. Please let your children know that this is only a test.
