The members of the science department strive to provide students with hands-on, inquiry-based learning opportunities in all scientific disciplines. The integration of scientific practices, such as modeling, argumentation, and designing/testing experiments are also key components of the various science courses. The science department aspires to produce citizens who have a strong foundation in all scientific disciplines regardless if they would like to pursue a career in science or another field.
