Hopewell Valley's Night Off is March 4!
One of the most anticipated evenings of the year is coming soon! Designed in response to the increasing demands of work and school on personal and family time, this community-wide initiative was created for families to “take the night off” to spend time together. With the support of local school officials, sports leaders, parents, community and religious leaders, all sports practices, classes and homework will be canceled on this special evening. Make it a tech-free night!

Early Dismissal for HVRSD Schools on Thursday, February 5, 2026
Schools have an early dismissal for Staff Development.
Timberlane Middle School and Central High School have a 12:00 pm dismissal
All Elementary Schools have a 12:45 pm dismissal.

Due to poor road conditions in many of our neighborhoods, Hopewell Valley Regional School District will operate on a 2-hour delayed opening schedule tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27th. All schools will open 2 hours later than the regular start times. YMCA before-school programming will also be delayed accordingly. As a result of the delayed opening, tomorrow's AM PEECH PreK classes are canceled.

This is Dr. Rosetta Treece, Superintendent of Schools. Due to the State of Emergency and hazardous road conditions expected, all schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 26th. All YMCA and sports programming is also canceled. Students are reminded to get outside and enjoy the snow! Staff and students should complete their e-learning assignments on Monday. I will monitor the weather throughout the day and communicate any changes to Tuesday’s schedule as soon as possible. Thank you and stay safe.

Due to the predicted road conditions for tomorrow morning, Hopewell Valley Regional School District will operate on a 90-minute delayed opening schedule, Monday, December 15th. All schools will open 90 minutes later than their regular start times, and YMCA before-school programming will also be delayed accordingly. As a result of the delayed opening, tomorrow's AM PEECH PreK classes are canceled.
