We will return to school tomorrow, Wednesday, February 25, at the normal start time. We thank our grounds and facilities staff for working hard on Sunday, Monday, and all day today to clear our school lots and roadways. There is more snow out there than we are used to, so please be patient with our bus drivers tomorrow. Additionally, take your time with drop off and pick up.

This is Dr. Rosetta Treece, Superintendent of Schools. Due to the State of Emergency and hazardous road conditions, all schools will remain closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 24th. All YMCA and sports programming is also canceled. This will be a good old-fashioned snow day, everyone! I will continue to monitor the snow-clearing progress at our school buildings and local roadways throughout the day and communicate any changes to Wednesday's schedule as soon as possible. Our local officials ask us to please try to stay off the roads if you can. Be well and stay Safe.

Designed in response to the increasing demands of work and school on personal and family time, this community-wide initiative was created for families to “take the night off” to spend time together. With the support of local school officials, sports leaders, parents, community and religious leaders, all sports practices, classes and homework will be canceled on this special evening. Make it a tech-free night!

Early Dismissal for HVRSD Schools on Thursday, February 5, 2026
Schools have an early dismissal for Staff Development.
Timberlane Middle School and Central High School have a 12:00 pm dismissal
All Elementary Schools have a 12:45 pm dismissal.

Due to poor road conditions in many of our neighborhoods, Hopewell Valley Regional School District will operate on a 2-hour delayed opening schedule tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27th. All schools will open 2 hours later than the regular start times. YMCA before-school programming will also be delayed accordingly. As a result of the delayed opening, tomorrow's AM PEECH PreK classes are canceled.
