Purchasing Cooperatives

Purchasing cooperatives help reduce costs for individual members by using their larger buying power to negotiate lower prices. Hopewell Valley has participated in purchasing cooperatives since the 1990s. The district is an active member in 9 such ventures, saving money on expenses from electricity and gasoline to janitorial supplies and copy paper.
