Global Studies Pathway

Mission

The Global Studies Pathway provides students with a concentration of courses dedicated to the enrichment of student experience as world citizens.  Students will create a course of study that will expand their global view. Course work will cultivate curious, independent, and collaborative scholars and prepare students to make logical, evidence-based decisions to  develop confidence and capabilities to face the challenges of a rapidly changing diverse world.  This pathway is recommended for students who are interested in exploring the humanities, social sciences, and the arts through a global perspective.
  • Students must complete the AP Capstone or Concentrated Studies Program to earn the Global Studies Pathway diploma endorsement.
  • For the 2020-21 school year, rising 9th graders and 10th graders (who have met the course sequence requirements) are eligible to apply to the Global Studies Pathway.
  • Students who are interested in enrolling in the Global Studies Pathway must discuss with their counselor the expectations and requirements.
