Important Message from Dr. Smith

Dear Hopewell Valley Families:
I am saddened to report that one of our students, a freshman at Central High School, passed away earlier today.  Our condolences go out to the student’s family and friends.

As expected, many adolescents and members of our community are impacted (either directly or indirectly) by this loss.  School counselors, case managers, and members of the Mercer County Traumatic Loss Coalition will be available throughout the day at Central High School and Timberlane Middle School to assist students. (Please click the title above to read more)

This has resulted in an overall decrease in the sales of bottled water in our cafeterias and less plastic in our environment.

Our responsibility as a community is to own and address the underlying issues.
