Hopewell Valley marks Homecoming Weekend with a variety of community-building events open to students, families and the entire Valley community.

Pep Rally
Things kick off with a pep rally in the high school new gym on Friday, September 26. The 80-minute rally, following an abbreviated day of classes, will include both the familiar and the new including the traditional inter-class volleyball tournament, recognition of senior fall athletes and announcement of the winners of the Homecoming King and Queen election.

Parade
Featuring the Black & Gold marching band and cheerleaders, Pop Warner cheerleaders, students from all Hopewell Valley Regional schools, the Homecoming Court and, of course, the class floats.  The parade steps off at 5:45 p.m. sharp from Morningside Drive and Dublin Road and winds its way onto Timberlane Drive.  Prime viewing areas are available along Dublin Road, in front of the high school, and on Timberlane Drive.   This year’s parade theme is 1990s era cartoons.  Class Themes:  Seniors -  Scooby Doo; Juniors - Hey Arnold; Sophomores – SpongeBob Squarepants; Freshmen – The Simpsons.  We expect the parade to conclude no later than 6:15 p.m.
