The Hopewell Valley Central High School Hall of Fame Committee is a not-for-profit organization formed and operated by volunteers interested in the local athletic community. The Committee's primary objective is to recognize outstanding achievements of Hopewell Valley Central High School's athletes, coaches, athletic teams, and other contributors by inducting selected candidates into an Athletic Hall of Fame. The Committee's secondary objective is to use its activities and tax deductible contributions from the public as means to raise net funds. The committee's long term objective is to selectively invest any such net funds into various youth athletic programs within the Hopewell Valley community.

The Hall of Fame Committee is proud to announce the Class of 2008: Oscar Hodnett (1940), Dennis Wargo (1967), Judy Mills (1959), Rich deDufour (1976), Tim Van Dyke (1990), Kim Neuberger (1989), Gennifer Bennett (1993), Coach Shirley Rosser, 1979 & 1980 Golf Team, and Special Contributors Don & Jo Williams .

The 2006 banquet had over 200 attendees and brought together community members, athletes, coaches, ex-teammates and friends from far and wide. For information on tickets or how to make a tax-deductible contribution, contact the Hopewell Valley Athletic Office at 737-4003 Extension 3535.

Honor the Memory of Jim Byrnes
Jim Byrnes, retired educator, coach and mentor, was a founding member of the HVCHS Athletic Hall of Fame.  The current members of the committee would like to honor his memory through a memorial ad in our induction dinner program book.  If you are interested in participating as a patron for $15.00, with the money being donated to the Youth Enrichment Program in his name, please contact Annette at (215)428-2376 or by e-mail at HoValHallofFame@yahoo.com.
