| Bonjour | Guten Tag | Salve | Hola |
Language acquisition is a lifelong process. The primary goal of world language instruction is to enable students to communicate effectively in the target language. Students who select a classical language should be able to read and understand the language that they study. All students should be able to use the language that they have studied in meaningful ways, because they experience the language in authentic situations. As our students study another culture and develop a deeper awareness of the characteristics that bind us together, they also learn about the ways in which we are all different.
