Welcome to the Hopewell Valley Central High School Social Studies Department web page. Our department believes Social Studies is important for all young men and women so they look at our world with an understanding of who we are and how our world continues to change. It is not only important for our students to understand the historical aspects of the world to today, but there is also a need for students to become aware of how nations, ethnicities, religions and genders interact to make our world a better place.
