Student Assistance Counselor (SAC)

Ms. Iarussi is the SAC; she is NJ State certified as a  Substance Awareness Coordinator.  Although she shares her time between Central High School and Timberlane High School, her office is in the CHS Guidance office.  

Confidentiality

According to federal law, any information shared with the SAC is strictly confidential and cannot be shared with anyone without a "Release of Information" signed by the student.  However, there are a few exceptions when the SAC is required to break confidentiality:

• Risk to self, others or property

• Risk of committing a violent crime

• As allowed by court order
