Board President Wolff Receives Volunteer of the Year Award

On Friday, October 14 the Hopewell Valley community celebrated 20 years of the Healthy Communities/Healthy Youth initiative during the Hopewell Valley Mayors’ Breakfast. During the breakfast, the Municipal Alliance honored Lisa Wolff, Hopewell Valley Regional School District Board President as its Volunteer of the Year. Ms. Wolff also received a Joint Legislative Resolution presented by Senator Shirley Turner and Assemblywoman Elizabeth Maher Muoio.

The Referendum Passes!

On behalf of the Hopewell Valley Regional School District, we wish to express our deep gratitude to the voters of Hopewell Valley who supported our facilities and maintenance referendum on September 27. We appreciate your confidence in this spending plan and we pledge to continue to work hard in seeing that your tax dollars are well spent. We would also like to thank everyone who assisted us with getting the word out. We are very fortunate to have so many dedicated and talented residents who are willing and eager to help the district.

Time is Running Out - Register Now for the HV Parenting Conference on 1/28

Time is running out to register for the Hopewell Valley Parenting Conference scheduled for Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the Central High School campus. Starting Monday, January 9 conference registration will be open to surrounding communities. On-line registration will close on Friday, January 20. After this date walk-in registration will be available at $30 per person but cannot guarantee availability of all workshops.

As a reminder, the conference includes keynote speaker Dr. Ken Ginsburg, author of Raising Kids to Thrive and Building Resilience in Children and Teens, two of 15 different workshops for parents of Pre-K to 12th grade students, refreshments and community resources for $15 per person.
